The island’s chefs and food critics, however, have collectively rated those that they consider to be the finest. Naturally, if you have to ask how much their meals cost you probably can’t afford to eat at them, but the tab would still be likely to be considerably less than at comparable restaurants in London.

Sightseeing in Tenerife

A church and some other famous buildings on the coast of TenerifeThe largest of the Canary Islands, Tenerife has a rugged volcanic landscape that lends itself to sightseeing, and 43 protected parks and other sites, which comprise almost half of its territory.
The largest of these, Parque Nacional Del Teide, includes the magnificent Pico del Teide, or Teide Peak, which at 3,718 metres is the highest point in all of Spain. Tenerife also has a forest national park, 14 natural monuments, nine protected landscapes, six special natural reserves, four integral natural reserves, and two rural parks. Read more…

In the daytime, there are plenty of attractions and stunning volcanic sand beaches, but at night time the island really comes alive. The island has several large towns which act as major nightlife arenas; from Playa de las Americas in the South to Santa Cruz de Tenerife in the North.
